Exposing them to 15F is a recipie for cold injury to the buds, especially on bench grafted trees.</font></div><div class=""><font face="Arial" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div class=""><font face="Arial" class="">The other consideration is new trees or rootstock is not going to grow if the soil is really cold.
