 Hi Jon,
My husband Bruce and I own property in Fitchburg, MA; 7 acres of which is a
beautifully maintained apple orchard with easy access.  We are looking for
a young or established orchardist who may be interested in leasing the
property. Our property has been in the family for over 100 years and the
orchard since the mid 60's.  The trees consist of Marshall Mac and
Cortlands.  It is our hope to continue with the orchard which produces high
yield beautiful quality fruit.
Our current farmer is unable to continue and we would appreciate any help
you or the members can give us.  I am attaching a flyer.  We would really
appreciate it if it could be presented at the February 8 meeting.  We are
more than happy to provide handouts if you see fit.
