Good Morning NC-140 members:

I will be writing this year's NC-140 Accomplishments Report and I need your help to provide the appropriate information. I have attached the template that we have used for several years and it includes some examples of the types of information we need. Please try to include information on the following topics.

1.       External funding you obtained in 2016 to help support NC-140 research. Include your name(s), the title of the project that was funded, the Source of the funding and the amount of funding.

2.       Try to include at least one impact that your involvement in NC-140 has had on your industry. It might be the number of new acres of apples on dwarf rootstocks that were planted or changes in state-wide recommendations, or other indicators of impacts.

3.       List your publications associated with NC-140 work during 2016: Books, book chapters, refereed Journal articles, symposium proceedings, poster presentations, popular articles, other creative works, and scientific & outreach presentations (relative to NC-140 activities).

The template has examples for most of these.
You can bring hard copies to the meeting if you want, but please upload your state report on the NC-140 web site  nc140.org<http://nc140.org>.  My report is due 60 days after the meeting and I want to try to complete it before the semester break, so please upload your reports before our meeting in November.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you in Happy Valley in 2 weeks and thanks for your help!
