I will be glad to help with car pooling once I know if I am flying back from Seattle or Spokane.

Subject: [Nc140] NC140 Travel Coordination
Hi NC140 Colleagues,
Ron Perry just mentioned to me that Michelle Warmund commented to him on the high cost of flying into Wenatchee. Some of us are flying into Seattle at probably less than half the airfare to Wenatchee and renting a car (still being less in total than the fare to Wenatchee). That cost savings incrases even more if some of us carpool from Seattle to Wenatchee and back. Now, coordinating travel plans is not something Stefano should be tasked with facilitating, we can certainly use this email list for such official NC140 business (right, Jon?)……
Stefano did send us the link to a shuttle service from Seattle to Wenatchee, but those of you who checked it out might have noted that it ceases running on Tuesday the 14th, thus no return trip offered…...
So, I’d urge those possibly looking for Seattle carpooling opportunities to note planned arrivals and departures, and see who might be able to join up. Remember, more passengers makes for easier work pushing the rental car through that early snowfall on Stevens Pass when you risk not getting tire chains……. :-)
Cheers,
Greg
