The model is based on published and un-published scientific information, discussions with experts, and field observations in Europe in the past years. The model was validated with field observations on the epidemiology in 2015 in orchards in France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Austria.</div><div class=""><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" class="">The first impression is that the model explains the observed epidemics reasonably well. Despite its limits, the model can already help growers and consultants to find the best moments for fungicide applications to control <i class="">Marssonina </i>leaf fall disease.
