HVRL. We all view 2017 as
an experimental year where we all learn (all East NY growers were invited to consider joining this
partnership with HVRL and it was their free will to decide whether to join this partnership or not). <span class="gmail-im"><br><br>2. Establish connection directly between HVRL and growers to form ENY Apple Farm </span></span></font><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><span class="gmail-im"><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><span class="gmail-im">user group in RIMpro for learning purposes (</span></span></font>due to subscription-based
nature of RIMpro and differences between user group vs. consultancy mode in its use). <br><br>3. Use this </span></span></font><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">partnership to deliver RIMpro output interpretations from HVRL to subscribed growers for 10-12 representative stations we choose. We would deliver this info via 3 region-specific e-mail lists to
provide </span></font><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">learning opportunity and to </span></font>acclimate growers for </span></font><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">independent </span></font><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">RIMpro </span></font><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">use in the future. We view RIMpro as one more tool in their decision making toolbox. We wish RIMpro subscribed growers through our partnership to receive HVRL interpretations directly from us. Growers can then decide who

will only deliver our RIMpro interpretations directly to grower e-mails since NEWA stations are owned by growers. C</span></span></font>ontact HVRL's administrator Erica Kane at 845 691 7151 so she can get names, e-mails and phone numbers of your growers,<br>2. She will then contact these growers and arrange the payment of the the </span></span></font><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><span class="gmail-im"><font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><span class="gmail-im">patch fee between RIMpro and NEWA,<br>3. She </span></span></font>will then fill out the NEWA form for them and send it to Dan Olmstead,<br>4. Due to soon coming spring these growers should pay subscription to RIMpro online immediately,<br>5. Once they receive datafile links from Dan Olmstead I will send them the tutorials on how to connect the station, join ENY Apple Farm user group, put in BIOFIX's etc. <br><br>We wish to follow certain procedure that is same for all growers who joined our user group and a hierarchy in delivering our partnership information. Finally, we wish to be fair to all other consultants by avoiding any potentially viewed
favoritism of HVRL to specific consultants with whom growers have arrangements with.<br><br></span>Let us know if you have any

<div>I’m not certain which stations you wish to use, but I wanted you to know that we have three stations in the Champlain that will be part of our eastern NY users group (Forrence, Northern, Chazy). If you opt to join our user group, then you will
be able to access those stations without having to pay anything more than 150 Euros to RIMpro to become a “friend of the user group.” If you want to add NEWA stations elsewhere, you will need to subscribe with both NEWA and RIMpro for those additional stations,
but you will still be able to access the Champlain Valley stations at no additional charge if you join our eastern NY use group. As I assume you know, you will need to pay NEWA $50/station to get a file name that will provide RIMpro compatible data.</div>

<div>For reasons that I don’t understand, Srdjan Acimovic and Peter Jentsch, who have organized the eastern NY program, seem a bit reluctant to include consultants in the network directly. They (or perhaps Julie Carroll in NEWA) seem to want consultants
to subscribe to RIMpro via the name of the grower on whose farm the NEWA station is located. I don’t think the folks at RIMpro care either way, but I’m just alerting you to that situation. Therefore, if you are interested in joining the user group, I suggest
that you contact Srdjan with a request for info on how you can help two of your western NY growers join our user group or on how you can join as a friend of the user group if the stations of interest are only those in the Champlain Valley.</div>
