Study Area:

Experiment 1:
This experiment was located at Mountain Top Orchards, located in Glen Gardener, Hunterdon
County, New Jersey. A twenty-year-old commercial block of Macoun apples on MM106 was
utilized. The experiment was a randomized complete block design with single tree treatments and
four replicates.

Experiment 2:
This experiment was located at Mountain Top Orchards, located in Glen Gardener, Hunterdon
County, New Jersey. Similar aged trees were utilized in an adjacent block to evaluate the following
cultivar response to Thinrite; GoldSpur Golden Delicious on MM 106, Jonathan on MM 106, and
Stayman 201 on M 26. This trial was set up as a demonstration with no replications . Three trees
of each cultivar were treated.
